The team at Heesen Yachts have introduced 55m (180’5”) superyacht PROJECT AGNETHA – previously YN 20955 – by releasing renderings of both the exterior and interior. Designed by Frank Laupman of Omega Yachts, she presents with an assertive profile and creates a striking first impression with state-of-the-art features and innovative style elements.
The pillar-free aft superstructure and absence of window mullions on the main deck enhance the yacht’s indoor / outdoor flow and offer unobstructed sea views from many vantage points on board. A distinctive ‘shark tooth’ motif on the wheelhouse overhang is a unique feature.
Mark Cavendish, Heesen CCO, comments: “The Heesen 55-metre Steel Class is constantly evolving, and Project Agnetha is the result. The beauty of buying this kind of superyacht is that the shipyard has taken care of all the technical aspects and has perfected the platform, incorporating in-depth feedback from our constant dialogue with brokers, owners and captains. So when clients join the project, they can enjoy the fun part of building a superyacht, focusing on all those details that will make the yacht truly theirs.”
The interiors have been designed by Luca Dini Design and Architecture and use a palette of warm tones to create a comfortable and familiar atmosphere making PROJECT AGNETHA the perfect sanctuary for extended voyages. Her carefully planned layout offers six luxury staterooms for up to twelve guests including a main deck owners’ suite, a bridge deck VIP and four lower deck suites.
Power comes from with two MTU8V4000 M63 (IMO Tier III) engines which deliver a top speed of 15.5 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles at a 13-knot cruising speed.
Heesen are leaders in the 50-57m superyacht category and a pioneer in speculative build projects, many of which are now available for charter. Superyacht PROJECT AGNETHER is currently looking for her new owner and is available for delivery in Q2 2025.
