Damen Yachting have confirmed that 60m (196’85”) superyacht KHALIDAH has been delivered to her owners and is in port at the Amels Headquarters in Vlissingen City until her maiden voyage. The yacht features exterior design by Espen Øino International and interiors from Winch Design.
The exterior profile is characterised by her trapezoid windows and some of her key features include an expansive water’s edge beach club equipped with a sauna and steam room, a sociable sun deck housing a stunning jacuzzi, BBQ area and touch-and-go helicopter.
She can accommodate up to 12 guests across six staterooms, with additional cabins for a crew of up to 13, including the captain. In the owner’s suite a room divider has been crafted from thoughtfully selected art pieces and marine-inspired items and the lighting and music can be altered at the touch of a button. The owner’s suite is also equipped with a folding balcony, ensuite and dressing room to create a private oasis for her owner. The custom interiors blend light materials, woods and vibrant pops of colour, with artistic elements and high-tech lighting.
Rob Luijendijk, Director of Sales at Damen Yachting commented on Khalidah’s sleek exterior, “Her striking design, future-proof package and proven capability are just some of the outstanding qualities of the Amels 60. To see so many of these yachts with their owners in such a short space of time is incredible.”
Meanwhile the build Project Manager Joppe Osté commented on the IMO Tier III-compliant hybrid power and propulsion. “This proven hybrid system currently offers the best solution to reduce harmful emissions, reduce noise and vibrations while benefiting from lower fuel and maintenance costs. It also allows you to cruise up to a certain speed without using the main engines, solely cruising on the generators.”
Superyacht KHALIDAH’s maiden voyage itinerary has not been made public, so keep an eye out for her distinctive good looks in harbours around the world.
