The first 60m Perini Navi sailing yacht, Hull C.2193, has arrived in Viareggio, Italy, after the construction at the Perini Istanbul-Yildiz shipyard, Turkey. Featuring aluminium hull as well as superstructure, the 60m Perini Yacht C2193 is due to be finished, launched and delivered in the summer of 2013. She is one of the superyachts from the Perini Navi 60m new generation series sold recently.
The new hull lines, that can be seen as a natural evolution of Perini’s 56m yacht series, guarantee speed, comfort and ample spaces for living both indoors and out. Hull and superstructure in aluminium make for a gross tonnage of under 500 tons and a displacement of approximately 570 tons.
The ketch Perini Navi C.2193, designed by Perini Navi’s naval architects in collaboration with New Zealander Ron Holland, will have a sail control system designed by Perini Navi and a lifting keel that goes from 4 to 9.79m.
During the coming year the second yacht in the 50m Perini Navi aluminium series will be delivered in May and the first yacht in the 40m fast cruising line will be delivered at the end of the summer.
The Perini Navi Group is also currently constructing the third yacht in the 60m series and a 38m yacht in their Racing Line. Both these yachts could be ready for delivery in less than two years.
