The 63m Benetti superyacht METIS, launched in 2018 as Project Balance, has now been delivered to her owner. She was initially built on speculation, with exterior design created by Giorgio M Casetta and interiors by Bannenberg & Rowell.
METIS boasts elegant exterior profile with a vertical bow, same as on very successful Benetti charter yacht 11.11. As for the exterior living spaces, the yacht hosts a huge superyacht beach club expandable with fold-out sections. The sun deck serves as the entertainment hub with an alfresco dining area, bar, Jacuzzi and sunpads.
The layouts are skewed by 30°, creating asymmetry, which provides a new way of enjoying the incredible views of the sea. The main deck salon provides a dining and lounge area, while the upper deck salon has ample seating and offer a more private atmosphere. A children’s playroom, a twin cabin and a nanny room are also located on the main deck, making the yacht suitable for private family vacations.
This fully custom yacht provides accommodation for up to 12 guests across eight cabins. Located on the upper deck, the master suite of 162 sqm boasts two bathrooms, walk-in wardrobes and a lounge area with 180-degree views. Forward on the upper deck is the touch and go helipad. The lower deck hosts further guest cabins. Twelve professional crew members are accommodated on the lower deck in the crew quarters.
METIS has a maximum speed of 16 knots, as she is powered by MTU 12V4000M53 engines. At her cruising speed of 12 knots, she has a range of 5,000.
