The spectacular 65m motor yacht Galactica Star, that turns heads with her sporty exterior looks and modern interiors has been sold and renamed ILLUSION. Under the new name, superyacht ILLUSION is ready to host her first guests in the Caribbean this winter season, offering an unforgettable charter experience for up to 12 guests with a crew of 13 onboard, offering impeccable service, attention to detail and ensuring everyone has a fun and memorable time.
ILLUSION was built by the Heesen shipyard in 2013 and refitted this year (2019), boasting interiors by the renowned Bannenberg & Rowell studio. She is a fast vessel with a great performance thanks to her Fast Displacement Hull Form by Van Oossanen and Heesen Naval Architects. She has a six-cabin layout with a main deck master stateroom and further accommodation on the lower deck. All suites are with ensuite bathrooms and luxury amenities.
Some of the outstanding features of ILLUSION include the lower deck ‘spa centre’ with a sauna, hammam, shower room, day head and a fully equipped bar. Here you can also see the glazed bottom of the swimming pool, which is placed on the main deck.
Another great area to relax can be found on the foredeck, which can be used either as a spacious sunbathing area or a touch-and-go helipad. Beneath the foredeck, there is the tender garage with gull-wing doors.
The yacht is able to reach a very nice top speed of 27knots while can cruise at 24 knots with approximately 75% engine power output. Her range at 14 knots is 4.500 nautical miles.
