Italian shipyard Benetti has announced the sale of custom luxury yacht PROJECT FENESTRA, known as FB 278 during production, to an experienced American Owner. The layout is designed around family interaction as well as fitness and well-being, with the exterior styling the work of Giorgio M. Cassetta, while the interiors are the work of the Benetti in-house team.
Comprised of six decks, PROJECT FENESTRA consists of a sundeck, bridge deck, private Owners’ deck, a main deck, a lower deck ‘guest deck’ and a tank deck for storage and technical spaces.
The Owners’ deck in particular has 1,600m2/17,222ft2 of space with a lounge that benefits from 180° views and comes furnished with a bar. The sundeck is a social hub and fitness centre where the group has a gym with elevated views of the surroundings during a workout, and a steam room and Jacuzzi for post-workout relaxation.
The beach club in the stern is a welcoming space for visitors as well as guests staying on board, and the upward-opening stern door provides a degree of shade while the side terrace extends the area out and provides fresh air and sunshine to the interior. A bar and bath are amongst the inner amenities for relaxation beside the sea.
The accommodation is designed for 14 guests in seven en-suite cabins, with a crew of 17 for professional service, and the captain, first officer and chief engineer all have double cabins. The Owner also specifically requested that the crew spaces have similar materials and quality of furnishings to those used in the guest areas.
