SANABORG was initially built as a support vessel with an ice-breaking hull in 2012 in Holland and after the two-year conversion has been relaunched at ICON Yachts as the 68m superyacht PROJECT RAGNAR. She is now an Arctic explorer yacht available for private charters.
The exterior and interior design comes from the British design studio RWD. The interior styling features a combination of modern styling and Medival war craftsmanship with stunning design elements and attention to detail.
Some notable features of the yacht include a wine cellar, a gymnasium, wellness centre with sauna and massage room, steam room, hot and cold foot spa and a rainforest shower. The images of the indoor areas have not been released yet.
At 2,450 GT she offers a fully-certified helipad, a dedicated deck for water toys and equipment, and plenty of storage for a submarine and a Ripsaw EV2.
The accommodation sleeps a total of 12 guests in 7 staterooms in the following configuration: two master suites, four double cabins and one twin cabin. The crew quarters provide accommodation for up to 13 staff members.
Built with an ICE Class A1 hull and to LY3 Class, PROJECT RAGNAR has outstanding cruising capabilities, also thanks to her ICE class PC5-rated electric-driven ice pods. She provides an extraordinary range of 6,000 nm.
