Seven yachts under construction and two new superyacht projects show a very promising year for the renowned Italian Zuccon International Project studio. The seven vessels currently under build are at the Ferretti Groups’ shipyards: two Ferretti Yachts (Ferretti 850 and 450), two Custom Lines (Custom Line Navetta 37 and Navetta 42) and three at the CRN Shipyard in Ancona (CRN Superconero, CRN 74m and CRN 79m). For the latter, Zuccon’s architects have also created two exciting new projects for 50-metre yachts: CRN 50m Expedition Yacht and CRN 50m Dislopen.
Studio Zuccon have been approached by Ferretti Yachts to redesign their entire range over a period of three years. The first to models include the Ferretti 450 and the Ferretti 850, which already shows great interest. She is a 26m vessel, with striking and sporty lines, available in a couple of different versions. Both vessels are currently under construction and are due to appear at the 2016 Cannes Yachting Festival.
As per Custom Line, there is an increase in size for their vessels. Next few months will see the official presentation of the Navetta 37, a large displacement yacht, and the ‘older sister’ Navetta 42 – which is also the largest yacht ever constructed by Custom Line. Her renderings have just premiered at the Miami boat show and her launch is scheduled for 2018. This yacht is fully customisable, providing a range of solutions to promote comfort and wellbeing of her owner and guests.
CRN Shipyard also has a few yachts under build, all of which are steel and are scheduled for launch in 2017. The 74m CRN 131 however, is expected to be launched in the next month, while the other two M/Y CRN 135 and M/Y CRN Superconero are also at the yard. SUPERCONERO, together with EXPEDITION 50 and DISLOPEN 50, belong to the three-model range created by Zuccon to launch a flexible design proposal, based on the same platform.
In addition to the above collaborations, the studio also continues its research activity carried out by Zuccon Superyacht Design division. In fact, last month saw their latest concept, the 94m TETI premiere – an innovative concept that revolutionises the way exterior spaces are conceived and lived aboard these large vessels, representing Zuccon’s ability to innovate and always come up with new proposals, while being able to respond to all requirements.
