Explorer yacht LA DATCHA was built in 2020 with global adventure and exploration in mind – offering charters anywhere from the icy wilds of the Arctic and Antarctic to the wonders of the South Pacific and South-East Asia. Her 2024 itinerary has recently been published and it is clear she will be venturing off the beaten track to visit some of the most unique landscapes and cultures all over the world.
Constructed by Damen Yachts, she can comfortably cruise extreme waters thanks to her Ice Class certification and IMP Polar Coding thus making the perfect choice for guests looking for an adventure-filled charter. Her interior, designed by Vasily Shprits, can accommodate up to 12 guests in six suites in contemporary spaces which maintain a homely feel whatever the outside weather conditions.
When you see her impressive profile, you immediately understand her ability to undertake a major expedition in the harshest environments. Plus with the addition of a commercially certified helipad, below deck hangers filled with water toys and a three-person TRITON submersible, guests can explore and enjoy destinations in a unique and unforgettable way.
After a day out on the water guests can luxuriate in the on deck jacuzzi or warm up and relax in the wellness centre which includes a Turkish Hammam, treatment and massage area and indoor jacuzzi. Those with more energy to burn off can make use of the fully equipped gym and dive centre before cooling off in the invigorating ice fountain. Once the adrenalin has worn off, it is up to bar or salon area for drinks and dinner prepared by the talented chef, all to guests own tastes.
She can maintain autonomy for up to 40 days at sea during which time the 25 crew will be dedicated to attending to guests needs.
