DRAGON, the newest luxury motor yacht under construction at the Palumbo Superyachts in Ancona, Italy has left the shed. The 80m Columbus Classic vessel is due to be delivered this year, boasting striking exterior lines, naval architecture and general arrangements by Hydro Tec and interiors by Francesco Guida Design.
With 2,100 GT and 79.90 metres, this vessel is the largest yacht to date by this Italian shipyard. She has a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, boasting flush foredeck and wide upper decks spreading the entire beam of the vessel.
With five large decks, DRAGON’s most notable features include the main deck double guest cabins with beds facing outboard and a spacious VIP suite with a private seating area that can be converted into an ensuite cabin. Accommodation can be offered for up to twelve guests, while guests and the yacht are serviced by a crew of 19.
The owner stateroom is located on the upper deck forward, offering magnificent views and is also equipped with a private saloon area on the foredeck as well as a helipad. In addition, there is an office, a separate dressing room and a sauna.
A large 6-metre swimming pool has been placed on the sun deck, featuring a hot tub and a waterfall. Another astonishing feature is her large beach club with fold-out side platforms. The beach club, in addition to the usual equipment, offers a sauna and a hammam to her guests. The two tenders are stored amidship and include a 9,5m custom limousine tender by ISA Yachts.
