The semi-completed 81m/267ft expedition yacht PROJECT WORLD from Palmer Johnson, which has been berthed in the Norwegian fjords for a decade, has been sold. The polar-class hull is designed for cruising in isolated environments and is capable of a top speed of 16 knots using Rolls Royce Bergen C25 engines.
Also known as PJ-801, the explorer yacht is designed by Nuvolari Lenard and will have six decks and will accommodate 12 guests and 27 crew. Originally designed and constructed in 2009, her technology will be updated and include self-sustaining systems, while her layout shows a hammam, sauna, gym, helicopter pad, swimming pool and submarine for guest entertainment and relaxation.
