Pride Mega Yachts has announced the completion of 88.5m/290ft luxury yacht ILLUSION PLUS, the largest motor yacht ever built in China.
Constructed by Yantai Raffles Offshore Limited, M/Y ILLUSION PLUS is constructed from a steel hull and aluminium superstructure with exteriors from Rainsford Saunders Design and interiors from Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design.
Natural materials with red and gold accents and minimalist furnishings form a modern Asian look for the rooms, which make use of floor-to-ceiling windows and a beam of 15.5m/51ft for airy and bright living areas connected to the outdoor environment. Guests have a 3,603 GT volume for amenities including a two-tier lounge and dining area, plus accommodation which sleeps 12 over six lavish en-suite cabins.
Rolls-Royce diesel-electric propulsion produces a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
Building began on speculation and her sale was announced in 2014, however she has returned to the market with an asking price of $145,000,000 USD.
The completion of M/Y ILLUSION PLUS follows her June sea trials in the Yellow Sea and she will now cruise to Monaco via Shenzhen ahead of the Monaco Yacht Show this September, where she will be one of the largest superyachts on display.
