Westport Yachts are currently building their 8th Westport 164′ motor yacht of the Westport 164′ flagship series. Westport Hull 5008 expected to be launched and completed in 2011. Westport 164’ Hull 5008 was designed by Donald Starkey and features naval architecture by William Garden. The interior concept and styling is also by Donald Starkey.
The eighth hull in Westport Yacht’s 164 flagship yacht series is a composite yacht measuring 49.98 metres in length (164 ft). This tri-deck superyacht can accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 luxurious cabins including the owner suite.
The refined hull form of the Westport 164 yacht is capable of exceptional ocean going performance and features an innovative accommodation layout in her interior designed for entertaining and relaxed socializing.
The GRP made vessel will weigh just under 500 tonnes and is powered by Twin MTU 16V4000 diesel engines which drive her to an impressive mid 20 knot top speed. The 8th Westport 164 will have a range of 5,000 nautical miles at a speed of 12 knots. She has a beam of just over 9-meters and a designed maximum draft of 2.23 meters. ABS-classed and MCA-compliant, the 164 is equally well suited for private use or charter service.
Motor yacht Boardwalk was the 7th Westport 164. She was launched in 2010.
