90m Mega yacht ‘Open & Close’ by Jens Cruse of Cruse Naval Design is the latest superyacht project created by one of the pioneers in 3D naval design. Jens Cruse can add 16 years of subcontractor work for Blohm + Voss Naval and Blohm + Voss Yacht Division to his curriculum, in addition to collaborations with other prestigious shipyards.
The most important feature of his latest 90 m yacht is the integration of many hatches.
Beginning at the bow, the first hatch under the helicopter deck has been designed to accommodated water toys, as well as provide a good access to the below mooring deck.
The mooring wings stations for the crew are situated at the hull sides and are perfect for watching the dolphins as they swim and jump at the bow. The large hatch under the helicopter landing area is for the 6.7 m rescue boat.
The VIP cabins feature a down foldable balcony on each side, with two integrated portholes.
On the starboard side there is a big boarding platform, which can be entered via the bulwark gangway system, providing an excellent view from the dining area when folded down. On the opposite side of the yacht there is a shell door for service and crew access.
Near the transom at the starboard side there is a 12 m long beach club with a sea terrace for relaxation, sunbathing and water fun. The port side of the new Jens Cruse 90m superyacht boasts a garage for a 12 m / 6 t and a 10 m /5 t yacht tender.
Close to the bathing platform there is a stern door, large integrated and foldable bathing stairs and the hatch for the obligatory stern passerelle.
The 90m yacht is just below 3000 GT, has a beam of 14.35 m and a draught of 3.80 m, two swimming pools , two whirlpools and an array of interesting features, like a cinema.
