Last month in the popular Palma yacht charter location, nestled in Spain, was marked by the arrival of the modern and ultra luxurious 96-metre Blohm + Voss motor yacht Palladium at Club de Mar Mallorca. Mega yacht Palladium is travelling throughout the Mediterranean and has chosen the Majorcan superyacht marina to make a stop.
This is not the first time that superyacht Palladium comes to Palma. In 2013 the yacht made a strategic stop in the lovely Mallorca yacht charter location to repair some problems with the screws.
Luxury yacht Palladium was launched in March 2010 by the Hamburger shipyard Blohm & Voss and was delivered to her owner in September 2010.
The building of super yacht Palladium was developed with great secrecy, initially naming the yacht with the code name ‘Orca’, probably inspired by the modern lines designed by the British studio Micheal Leach, which fully serves the designs’ intention: a powerful steel and aluminium yacht that emulates futuristic lines and the robust cetacean by the color of its hull.
The impressive Palladium yacht is equipped with the newest technological generation, as its advanced exterior superstructure design, with remarkable glazings, two great panels that close each side and three decks where there are different exterior areas, a big solarium, optimal to develop any activity in the prow.
The Palladium superyacht has a capacity to transport 16 passengers and 24 crew members. Inside, designed by Metrica and Silverlining, there are 6 suites plus the main ship-owner’s suite, that has its own terrace, among other luxuries, such as an adjacent nursery. A living room, sofa area and dining room for 16 guests, a luxurious bar area, spa, gym and sauna are some of the yacht’s attractions.
Driven by two diesel twin engines and two MTU 595 TE 70L generators, the Palladium yacht can reach a maximum speed of 19 knots, with a cruise speed of 14 knots. The yacht includes two auxiliary boats with a customized design by Cougar Marine, located in its stern’s hangar.
