Christopher Seymour has unveiled details on his newest superyacht design, the 96m Yacht Sunset Heaven. The Sunset Heaven yacht measures a staggering 96 meters (96.77m/317.50’) and features traditional lines as well as fresh elements making her a beautiful modern classic. The Sunset Heaven motor yacht design is the second design released by Christopher Seymour, after the 122m Megayacht ALPINE
Superyacht Sunset Heaven has a plumb bow which extends the waterline to improve efficiency, extending the waterline to improve the displacement to length ratio. Its superfine entry provides less resistance and a spray chine reduces the wetted surface area and creates a small amount of lift.
The anchors are also hidden which helps to improve the flow of water and air across the sides of the hull making her more ‘aerodynamic’. She will be powered by diesel-electric propulsion and pod-drives, which should make her efficient with long range distance capabilities.
The interior layout of yacht Sunset Heaven by Christopher Seymour Designs was designed to be ergonomically friendly as well as to create a pleasurable experience for her owners, crew and potential charter guests.
The lower deck takes up to 30% of the interior volume and is primarily the crew area with the crew’s accommodation, mess, lounge, and main kitchen located here. Deck One consists of two VIP’s suites with their own fold out balcony and Guest cabins as well as the main salon and dining area for the guests to enjoy. The aft deck will boast a large pool, lounges, and sun chairs. The stern will house the two main tenders, jet skis, underwater scooters, dive equipment and water toys. One of the tenders will be a custom designed by Christopher Seymour with similar styling to M/Y Sunset Heaven.
The owner’s deck on the level above can be made an exclusive area at the Owner’s request by keeping it private and only accessible to certain guests. The owner’s suite will be located forward with expansive views of the surrounding ocean and vistas. At the aft of the owners deck level there is a large lounge, dining area and private bar as well as a second galley for fast service. This level will not only have its own Spa Pool, lounges and a bar on either side on the back deck, but a pool and sun chairs on the foredeck for more private family time as well as a helipad. This front deck area can be cleared for private parties, functions, or for special events.
The bridge is situated on Deck Three and will not be accessible to guests; however the remainder of the deck can be accessed for lounging or enjoying the views around the perimeter of the deck. On Deck Four, the Sundeck, there will be a Spa Pool, lounge, inside bar, back deck lounge, with a bar on either side.
