97m/318ft superyacht DIVA is the latest luxury yacht concept from German shipyard Lloyd Werft, with Judel/Vrolijk producing the interior and exterior styling for a cohesive appearance inside and out.
M/Y DIVA has a sleek and sporty appearance enhanced by her on-trend plumb bow and finished in a chrome grey paint matched on the hull and superstructure. Spanning six decks, the interior volume comes in at just under 3,000 GT and allows for a wealth of guest areas, which benefit from floor-to-ceiling windows throughout and decor that has been described as ‘Asian-Scandinavian’ for a contemporary appearance. The forward lounge can be converted into a cinema and has a fold-down terrace where the group can enjoy drinks at sunset.
The accommodation sleeps up to 12 guests over six en-suite cabins, all of which have private fold-out balconies. The majority of the guest accommodation is placed on the main deck, however the Owner has a dedicated deck that has two bedrooms, a his-and-hers bathroom and a private office in addition to a lounge, bar and alfresco living areas.
An aerial concept shot reveals a number of circular social areas, including a sundeck and foredeck Jacuzzi, alfresco dining areas and lounges, one of which looks to be centred around a fire pit. A generous infinity swimming pool covers the main deck aft with sun loungers along the sides, while the other decks all have sofa-sunbeds aft and forward. The helideck on the bow is large enough for a six-person capacity helicopter for ease of transfers.
Luxury yacht DIVA is expected to go into production in Q2 2020 with delivery for 2023.
Meanwhile, Lloyd Weft signed a contract to complete construction of the largest expedition mega yacht in the world, 182.9m REV Ocean. The gigantic vessel will be transferred from Vard Brattvåg shipyard in Norway to Lloyd Weft in April 2020 where she will remain until 2021 for the installation of interiors and outer ceiling, as well as the painting of the superstructure.
