Luxury mega yacht Aviva has been delivered to her owner, billionaire Joe Lewis. It has been reported that the yacht arrived in the UK on the 8th of May 2017. Aviva is a beautiful 98-metre vessel that stands out with her incredible blue hull. Abeking & Rasmussen launched their largest ever built superyacht early in 2017.
Reymond Langdon Design in collaboration with Toby Silverton drew up the design of the yacht, including the striking hull.
Motor yacht Aviva incorporates a large number of innovative features. Her curvaceous hull provides for superb seakeeping capabilities combined with 20% in drag. Aviva boasts a hybrid drive system, which allows reaching a speed of 11 knots while running solely on her electric motors. Silence and smooth cruising are some of the characteristics of Aviva’s contemporary design.
Interesting that this 98m motor yacht is the fourth in the “Aviva” series all designed for Joe Lewis. The previous superyacht Aviva was launched in 2007 by Abeking & Rasmussen and was also designed by Reymond Langdon Design.
Although the interior photos are yet to be revealed, we know that Aviva boats the full-size padel tennis court of the impressive size of 20m x 10m x 6m.
