Southern Wind, a South African based superyacht builder which specialises in building quality performance sailing superyachts, has launched a new yacht design, the new Southern Wind 102 DS sailing yacht.
Southern Wind has reaffirms its leadership in the 100 footer composite sailing yacht range with the introduction of the Southern Wind SW 102 DS, along with the delivery of sailing yacht Blues, which is the second SW 100 Raised Saloon which took place in Cape Town on June 30th 2010.
The SW 102 Deck Saloon yacht is the result of the experience gained by Southern Wind during the past 4 years, with the noteworthy construction of 11 SW 100, 1 SW 110 and 1 SW 94, the latter close to its launching date.
The SW 102 Deck Saloon represents the evolution and the synthesis of those traits which have set the supremacy of the shipyard in the 100 footers league. The project, the mould of which has recently been completed, is once again signed by Nauta Design and Farr Yacht Design.
The New Southern Wind SW 102 DS concept will be presented at both the Monaco Yacht Show and the Salone del Mare di Rapallo (Salone Nautico di Genova) boat shows.
