BMF Member, Hamble Point Marina will be once again playing a host the South’s premier new and used boat show, which is part of the national programme of events this year, as part of the BMF’s On The Water Weekend. The Show will run on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 April, 2013.
This popular free event will feature a great selection of new and used boats for sale, from day boats to sports boats, to cruisers and RIBs – catering to a range of budgets. The show is an excellent opportunity for visitors to browse products from a wide scope of leading marine companies. Firms which have already confirmed their attendance include BMF members Garmin, Sealine, Icom, Key Yachting and Princess, alongside Hamble Point Marina-based brokerage and new sales.
Visitors are free to wander around one of the South’s leading marina locations, taking in the boats for sale onshore and afloat, speaking to expert brokers and finding out more about the other marine services available on-site.
Entertainment will be provided by on-water displays, practical workshops in conjunction with the RYA Active Marina programme, an RNLI lifejacket clinic and Dry Stack demonstrations. The British Marine Federation’s On The Water bus will also be making an appearance, with staff on hand to advise visitors on how to get on the water.
Nicholas Parton, Hamble Point Marina Manager, commented: “The Hamble Point Boat Show is always a popular event, and we are looking forward to welcoming visitors for a great weekend. The show is perfect for those considering their first boat purchase, or for seasoned boaters who are in search of a day out. There will be experts on hand to offer advice and the chance to browse a whole range of new and used models available from leading brands.”
