On August 24 2010, the 126ft (38.4m) Christensen motor yacht Emerald Isle, will be put up for Auction in Fort Lauderdale to sell to the Highest Bidder at or above a reserve of $2,850,000.
Luxury motor yacht Emerald Isle was originally priced at $7 million, and received a $2 million refit in 2009. The superyacht Emerald Isle had been offered for sale in 2008 and 2009 through traditional brokerage channels, but did not sell despite price reductions.
Christensen motor yacht Emerald Isle has had one owner since her delivery in 1992. She spent some time as a luxury charter yacht and underwent as many as 11 Trans-Atlantic crossings although she has not been used as much in recent years. Her extensive refit work in 2009 included a new galley with granite countertops, new cabinetry and appliances, as well as new soft goods which have updated the living areas. The saloon has a new onyx-topped table and wetbar and teak cabinetry and the dining room that has a new backlit onyx oval dining table. Motor yacht Emerald Isle was also surveyed in June 2009.
Motor yacht Emerald Isle features 4 cabins able to accommodate 8 guests including an on-deck master suite plus a full beam VIP cabin located amidships and 2 double cabins located to port and starboard.
