More photos have arrived from the Italian photographer and yachting enthusiast Roberto Malfatti; this time of the 37,50 m charter yacht Galileo. Well maintained, sailing yacht Galileo is a Mediterranean ketch motor sailor, designed for world cruising by Sparkman & Stephens. She was constructed by Palmer Johnson in 1989 and received a refit in 2008.
Interior design of the sailing yacht Galileo was created by John Munford and her 2008 refitted soft furnishings and artwork have stayed in keeping with Galileo’s traditional classic style. Charter guests aboard Galileo are welcomed by a comfortable saloon with couches and a formal dining table, seating 8 guests. Her classic interior boasts quarter-sawn golden teak panelled bulkheads and attractive teak and holly flooring.
Accommodation is offered to 6 guests, or a family of 7, in three superbly finished guest cabins, situated aft of the saloon. These include a full-width master stateroom located aft, featuring a walk-around king-size bed with rounded corners and beautiful teak detailing, as well as large storage drawers below bed. To the starboard of the cabin guests can enjoy a spacious master bathroom. The en-suite has ample storage and spectacular teak detailing thourghout, as well as a fully enclosed shower and full-sized bath-tub. Adjoining the master stateroom is an office.
GALILEO yachts double guest cabin can be found to starboard and boasts a double bed as well as a Pullman berth that opens to accommodate additional guests if required. The twin cabin is located to port and has twin berths. Crew of 6 are accommodated aboard charter yacht Galileo separately.
Luxury yacht Galileo’s external areas feature a great teak deck space forward and aft, as well as a large protected cockpit. Here charter guests can enjoy lovely alfresco dining and enjoy the spectacular panorama of their surroundings.
