The brand new Cockwells 9.5m Owners Tender hit the water for the first time this week. The Cockwells 9.5m superyacht tender has been built for the gorgeous 73m Vitruvius series mega yacht ‘Grace E’ (hull C.2189), presently in build at Perini Navi in Italy. Below is a video of this stylish tender, undergoing sea trials.
While going through sea trials in the Carrack Roads around Falmouth, Cockwells was joined by the Captain and Chief Engineer from luxury motor yacht ‘Grace E’, who were satisfied with the excellent performance, as well as build quality.
Twin Yanmar diesels, each of 315hp, delivered the Cockwells 9.5m yacht tender an amazing maximum speed of over 40 knots. For slower handling, the joystick control permits precise manoeuvring in the tightest of spaces, which is ideal for berthing in crowded marinas.
The cockpit offers a sociable space for 12 guests and 2 crew. The high back seating positioned all-round the cockpit means guests can sit safely in comfort and remain dry at high speeds.
The Cockwells 9.5m Owners Tender to the 73m Perini Navi superyacht Grace E has been completed to the high standards, Cockwells is now well known for. The company believes they have created something special for the bespoke tender market.
