In collaboration with marine industry association members of South America, Brazilian ACOBAR and Argentinian CACEL, the International Council of Marine Industry Associations – ICOMIA – announce the ‘ICOMIA South America Conference’, scheduled for Saturday 19 October in São Paulo, Brazil from 1600 – 1900.
The Conference, which will take place during the 2013 São Paulo Boat Show and is free to attend, is the first step in developing a strategy for ICOMIA to support the boatbuilding industry and extend the market in this continent.
“We are looking for local marine industry and boatbuilder groupings and alliances as well as distributor/dealer unions and clubs from across South America to join us at the Conference so we can effectively assess boatbuilding activities in South America” explains Jorge Nasseh, member of the ICOMIA Executive Committee.
