Europe’s leading marina operator, MDL Marinas, is celebrating the success of its Mediterranean marina network, with two special events during the currently running PSP Southampton Boat Show.

On Monday, September 16, MDL Marinas welcomed officials from the Andalusia Ports Authority, who invited British boaters and MDL berth holders to take advantage of their new English-speaking concierge service in the region. Guests were able to enjoy tapas and refreshments at the stand.

The new service looks to make boating throughout Andalusia a more relaxing and accessible experience for British boaters. MDL berth holders simply need to call a dedicated number to make their booking in advance, and will also receive a full itinerary for their trip. Alternative berthing options will also be offered, as well as full marina and local area information.

Today, on Wednesday, 18th September, the MDL stand will be celebrating the success of its first Spanish marina, Sant Carles Marina, which opened in 2008. Despite a difficult economic climate, Sant Carles Marina has gone from strength to strength in the last five years and brought considerable investment to the local area. MDL will welcome the Mayor of Sant Carles to the stand and MDL berth holders and guests are invited to enjoy refreshments to celebrate the day.
