MDL Marinas, Europe’s leading marina operator, is proud to announce that Mercury Yacht Harbour is the latest luxury yacht marina in its portfolio to have been honoured with the Five Gold Anchors status from The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA). The assessment comprised a mystery shop, berth holders survey and an audit against a wide choice of criteria, providing an impartial review of the services as well as facilities available.

Mercury Yacht Harbour achieved an impressive 89% overall, with a near-perfect nine points out of a possible ten for its mystery shop. The marina was praised for its well-maintained facilities and the benefits and social activities provided for berth holders, with the assessor concluding that the marina “has been turned into a great boating destination by a strong and dedicated team, who all take the customer’s needs seriously and believe in a personal approach.”
Matthew Leigh, Marina Manager at Mercury Yacht Harbour, said: “We are delighted to have achieved the highest standard possible from The Yacht Harbour Association. The award is a real testament to the hard work put in by the team at the marina, as well as clearly demonstrating the quality of the facilities on offer to MDL berth holders.”
The scheme has been designed by The Yacht Harbour Association, with contribution from the RYA, to help boat owners make an informed decision on where to berth.
