CMC Marine will present in grand style at the upcoming Genoa Boat Show 2010: The company based in Como in fact, in addition to presenting the complete range of their products, will exhibit as world premiere the Stabilis Electra 16BR, the new model of electric actuator fin stabilizer. The 16BR joins the 18BR model, presented last year and already installed on several vessels built from prestigious Italian shipyards. Even the 16BR as the largest model, is a worldwide patent of CMC Marine.
CMC Marine - Stabilis Electra
CMC Marine continues its growth phase as new trend setter in the field of active fin stabilization system producer. The company headed by eng. Alessandro Cappiello in fact, after the incredible success of the Stabilis Electra 18BR model, the world’s first electric actuator fin stabilizer, which has revolutionized the standards of the yacht stabilization, is at the Genoa Boat Show with a smaller model of the same type, named 16BR, also patented internationally. The 18BR have been installed on boats from 20 to 30 metres as the motoryacht Sanlorenzo 82 or the Benetti 92 super yacht Delfino, substituting the traditional hydraulic system. The new 16BR model in the contrary, will be applied to smaller vessels where the hydraulic systems, for their size and power absorption, can not be installed. The 16BR reduced dimensions combined with the excellent performances already demonstrated by bigger model make it ideal for application to boats between 16 and 20 meters. In this way even yacht unused to be stabilized with an active stabilizing fin system can today be equipped with a latest generation of stabilizers, going to create a market that did not exist.
However, the dynamism of CMC Marine is also reflected in the range of products that the company is exhibiting at the show. It will be presented four different models of Stabilis, and two models Dualis, the dual contra-rotating propeller bow thrusters and a demo of Dia-Log, the sophisticated electronic control system.

Stabilis, the stabilizer range:
- Stabilis Mechanica 18MP, the hydraulic actuator for boats from 20 to 28 metres.
- Stabilis Mechanica 22MP-2140, the hydraulic actuator for yachts from 33 to 40 metres metri coupled with a fin of 1,40 sqm.
- Stabilis Electra BR18-2120, the first stabilizer with electrical actuator here proposed with a 1,20 sqm fin.
- Stabilis Electra 16BR, the smaller model of elettrical actuator for yachts under 20 metres.
Dualis, the bow thruster range:
- Dualis BTM40, the bow thruster with a 40 kw power
- Dualis BTM70, the bow thruster with a 70 kw power
Dia-log, the electronic control system with a double adjustment ring, developed entirely in house.
