Event organisers, Quaynote Communications, are delighted to announce that a day of ‘friendly competitive golf and informal networking’ has been added to their program of back to back conferences, set to take place in the lovely Mediterranean yacht charter destination – Malta in early April 2014.
With a good number of delegates already confirmed for the ‘Opportunities in Business Jets’ and ‘Opportunities in Superyachts‘ conferences on 2nd and 3rd of April respectively, Quaynote have booked the Royal Malta Golf Club as a venue for their inaugural golf/networking event on Friday 4th April.
“The Maltese government have been particularly accommodating with tax incentives and infrastructure investments in order to attract more superyachts to the island”, said Alison Singhal one of Quaynote’s directors. “We found it a perfect location for our Opportunities in Superyachts Conference last year, which encouraged us to run the very complimentary Jets and Yachts forums alongside each other in 2014.”
Alison added; “With perfect Spring weather in Malta and a superb golf course just a few minutes away from the conference venue in St Juliens, we saw a real attraction in combining some sport, exercise and fresh air alongside the conference program, where I’m sure the networking and business discussions are bound to continue in a relaxed environment.”
The golf day will start with coffee and croissants at the club house in the morning, followed by an 18 hole ‘Stableford’ competition, rounding off with a cocktail and buffet where prizes will be presented for the best scores, nearest the pin and longest drive.
The Royal Malta Golf Club is 125 years old, and boasts a brand new clubhouse and restaurant to compliment its par 68 golf course, which is described as a quiet and green oasis in the heart of the island.
Quaynote are welcoming other golfing members of the yachting community who may be based in Malta to join the golf day.
