Two years after the presentation of the first 5000 Fly luxury yacht La Pellegrina, the oldest French shipyard Couach is proud to announce the launch of the 5000 Fly motor yacht BELONGERS (Hull #2). Ordered in December 2012, the all-new 50m superyacht Belongers is scheduled for delivery in May 2014.

THE UNIQUE « YACHT COUTURE »
In Couach, every owner plays a crucial role. As for superyacht Belongers (Hull #2) of 5000Fly its owner had a fundamental impact on the design of this unique 165 footer – 49,9 meters vessel. In this particular case, 5000Fly #2 yacht owner requested an extension to the upper deck to have space for a table and seating for 14 guests and also wished to create a private area of 100 sqm on the fybridge by extending the bridge canopy. To accommodate his requests, with no compromises on the overall vessel concept, the engineers at Couach completely redesigned these areas, bringing a new meaning to semi-custom yacht building. Despite that, changes did not affected any systems, balance and yacht performance. Guided by the client’s wishes and requests, the interiors buildings were carried out by COUACH and METRICA® Interior renowned manufacturer of yacht and home interiors.
ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCE
Amongst the several technological updates evident in this model, probably the most remarkable one is the significant reduction of noise and vibration levels. This is the result of advanced acoustc studies and researches developed specifcally on this unit by Couach, setng up higher specifc data, relatve to the boat speed and sea conditons, than those regularly on demand. Accomplishing these standards, it has been required a complete change in mounting methods, resulting in extremely quiet living spaces. In order to achieve such a quality, Couach reviewed some buildings process. The result is an extremely quiet living spaces.
Superyacht Belongers
TRANSATLANTIC CAPABILITIES
The second Couach 5000Fly superyacht Belongers is equipped with 2 x 5226 HP MTU engines providing a maximum speed of 28 knots and a cruise speed of 24. Her navigational equipments meets IMO standards and this, coupled with her range, would allow for transatlantc capabilites crossing at a displacement speed of 12 knots. After this launch, which ends the construction phase, Couach will start a number of technical sea tests. Yard will unveil full details on yacht after the vessel’s delivery.
