This year’s Singapore Yacht Show will host plenty of award winners and industry leaders, displaying both in the water and by it. With more than 80 vessels already booked into slips, comprising 29 yachts over 20m, the event is expected to be even bigger and more glamorous than last year.
Those with a taste for larger motoring superyachts should look out for the 60m charter yacht Cloud 9, the 50m Perini Navi/Picchiotti superyacht Exuma, the 54m Trinity-built charter yacht Keri Lee III and the 41m luxury yacht Moonsand.
Between the 20- and 35-metre marks in motoryachts, a range of Azimuts (31.4m, 30m, 22m and 20m) plus the 32.3m Falcon 106 superyacht Aquarius S will be on display with Simpson Marine. The company will also be showcasing two of Monte Carlo Yachts’ models: the 23m and the 20m (there will also be a 15m model on the water).
A pair of Sanlorenzo builds (30m and 25m) as well as the 29.6m luxury charter yacht Blue Sapphire will be also open to visitors. Sunseeker Asia will be showing the the 23m motor yacht Manhattan 73 and Princess Yachts will be displaying a stunning variety, including its 26m and a 23m models with Princess SE Asia, as well as two Asia debuts.
Sailing yacht aficionados should make an appointment to visit the multiple-award-winning 67m mega yacht Vertigo, which was built by Alloy Yachts and designed by Philippe Briand. The companies will be attending the Show and available to discuss her – or how to build your own sailing yacht of her calibre.
If you are looking for holiday ideas rather than to buy a vessel, then the Singapore Yacht Show has plenty on offer, as a number of the yachts above are on display for charter as well as for sale. For those with an adventurous and nostalgic streak, the 43m Tall Ship Royal Albatross, ready to take you on your next expedition, will be on display. Also debuting at the show will be S/Y Dunia Baru who is also available for charter. At 51m, she is an impressive vessel who will delight those who charter her for cruising around South East Asia.
