Marina Port Vell (MPV), positioned in the fantastic Spain yacht charter destination – Barcelona and set to become one of the world’s most elite superyacht destinations and the pre-eminent home port in the Mediterranean, has as a primary and compelling mission the security, safety and privacy of its guests and the well being of its employees and visitors. In March 2014, MPV contracted The Securitas Group, a well known global security company, to provide unprecedented security through access control, perimeter, as well as interior surveillance and response. Securitas is fully coordinating with law enforcement entities – Civil Guard, National Police and the Port Authority – operating in the Port sector.
