It is presumed that the Dutch King Willem-Alexander has chosen the Vripack-designed Wajer Osprey 38 superyacht tender by Wajer & Wajer as his new boat to enjoy with his family.
Although the purchase could not be officially confirmed, Marnix Hoekstra from Vripack was very pleased with the news, stating: “It makes the Vripack Team utterly proud that a man of this prestige with a wife of such allure with their most adoring kids will enjoy a design we have continuously improved over the past 10 years. The Osprey 38 may definitely be considered as a prime example of our holistic design philosophy as we created her inside and out. She was the first yacht ever to feature the Volvo Penta IPS propulsion making sailing and especially docking the boat as easy as ABC. Not that our King would have problems docking a boat since he is an very avid pilot as well as boater.”
Presented by the award-winning design and naval architecture studio Vripack last year, the Osprey 38 yacht tender is faster, more efficient and around thirty percent quieter than her two predecessors, Osprey 37 and Osprey 34 yacht tender. Its comfortable walk-in and vast sun deck are unique for this category of luxury yachts. You can read more about the Wajer Osprey 38 superyacht tender designed by Vripack here.
