Horizon has received the support from the members of SYBAss (Superyacht Builders Association) to join the SYBAss. The SYBAss is a worldwide Megayacht association that represents the most experienced and prestigious superyacht builders worldwide. SYBAss’s main goals are to unite and represent the world’s leading superyacht builders. They aim to emphasize the unique values these companies offer owners and their business environment, and enhance cooperation between the yards. SYBAss ultimate mission is to improve the regulations, professionalism and environments in the global super yacht industry providing members with a single professional body that allows common interests to be shared.
To become a member of SYBAss, all members and applying members have to build and successfully deliver at least three yachts of at least 40 meters in length over the last 10 years.

Founded in 1987, Horizon stepped into the true megayacht field in mid-2005, and established a specialized shipyard dedicated to building the megayachts above 100 feet constructed with SCRIMP® resin infusion technology. Since then, Horizon have successfully delivered four 40m+ FRP superyachts which were completely custom-made to meet each owner’s dream, and built to meet full DNV Class Certification and MCA Compliance to ensure quality and safety.

Horizon’s continued effort to improve its yacht building technologies and become a globalized yacht building organization was behind the decision to enter into the SYBAss. Horizon’s membership reflects not only its strong presence in the megayacht industry but also helps develop a stronger link between the West and East Superyacht market. To be the first SYBAss member from the Far East, Horizon is pleased to share a unique Asian viewpoint with fellow members. In addition, Horizon is committed to applying experience, knowledge, and technology as a motor yacht builder in order to mutually improve the global superyacht industry.
