Built by the prominent Dutch manufacturer Heesen Yachts, luxury motor yacht Alive (YN17042) represents the first vessel of the all-new Heesen 42 meter series boasting a further development of Van Oossanen Naval Architects’ Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF), as well as the first application of the Hull Vane. Superyacht Alive thus requires 35% less power than any comparable yacht. Below is a video showing this highly innovative vessel, released by Heesen Yachts and shared by Van Oossanen NA, who were responsible for the naval architecture as well as concept development, in partnership with Omega Architects.
