Gulf Craft’s CEO, Erwin Bamps, has attended the 4th Annual CET (Customer Engagement Technology) Middle East conference as one of the keynote speakers, with the theme: “Discover the World of Customer Engagement Technology”. The event took place last November 25, 2014 at the Sofitel Dubai, The Palm.
Erwin Bamps tackled on the importance of social and digital media as channels for customer communications and engagement. Traditional marketing activities such as direct mailing and printed advertisements have decreased in popularity since the technology drives the people to communicate at a different level. He also discussed how Gulf Craft deals with its clients at a personal level which helps the company build a solid and high value client database.
The CET ME conference gathered marketing and industry experts from different companies who presented on how to use technology to boost their companies revenue by engaging their customers through digital means and how to effectively manage it. Statistics showed that there are 70% firms that already use digital tools for customer outreach while the remaining 30% firms are still relying solely on non-digital, traditional means for customer outreach. Those who are using digital marketing have seen an increase in sales by an average of 10-33 percent.
The conference was attended by CEO’s, CIO’s, CMO’s, Directors, Senior Managers, Senior Executives, and Marketing Managers from different companies in the UAE and the GCC.
