Sailing Yacht Marie is nearing her completion at the renowned Dutch yacht builder Vitters. This beautiful 180 foot long ketch Marie has been christened already, as well as completed her sea trials. Vitters built Marie yacht is a sistership to the sailing yacht Adele, a triple award winning vessel.
Vitters Shipyard, Hoek Design and David Easton were approached by the Owner to design and construct this unique and stunning 180ft performance yacht. Her hull was constructed in Alustar and is built to satisfy ABS and MCA requirements.
Marie super yacht can offer accommodation for four guests in two twin cabins, two guests in her VIP stateroom and the Master Stateroom accommodates two. The Master stateroom of the sailing yacht Marie has its own deck house and cockpit. Her modern woody interior styled and decorated by David Easton features Anigre crafted panels with traditional art pieces.
Vitters sailing yacht Marie has a light weight rig, built from carbon fibre at Southern Spars. The rig is finished in black, which stunningly matches her beautiful black hull. Her massive and powerful ketch rig allows her to plow through the deep blue above 16knots in a good wind.
This astonishing new Vitters built yacht Marie has a beam of 9.5metres and a draught of 4.8 metres. A displacement about 298 tonnes and she holds just over 28,000 l of fuel. She features a CAT C32 engine to facilitate pure motoring or assisting the sails when the winds die off.
Marie’s wonderfully designed double deckhouse features classic lines with contemporary touches. Strong but light weight carbon fibre ketch rig, light woody interior facilities are gaining the most from her 180 ft frame when at sail.
