Taiwan-based shipyard, Horizon Yachts, is currently attending the 2015 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, debuting two brand new vessels: a lovely V72 yacht as well as power catamaran PC52. The event will run in Australia’s Sanctuary Cove until May 24, 2015.
“The launch of the new Horizon V72 motoryacht and PC52 power catamaran for the Australian market marks another milestone for Horizon as we expand upon our global success with new model designs,” said Horizon Group CEO John Lu.
Specifically built to meet the needs of Australian yacht owners, Horizon motor yacht V72 represents an excellent result of the collaboration between Horizon Motor Yachts Australia (HMYA) and the yard’s in-house design team. The vessel boasts generous areas throughout the main as well as lower decks; the main deck features an aft galley, which allows guests to easily transfer between the galley and aft deck areas, as well as a forward main salon.
Below deck, Horizon luxury yacht V72 provides comfortable accommodation to up to 6 guests in three en-suite staterooms, including a King master stateroom, Queen VIP stateroom, as well as twin guest stateroom. Crew quarters and a work space can be found aft of the engines. Moreover, the pilothouse features a protected space to pilot the vessel as well as a day head and dinette for guests, and there is also a full bar on the boat deck, with plenty of room to store a tender.
Run by twin CAT C18A 1150HP diesels, the V72 yacht can reach a maximum speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 18,7 knots. In addition, she provides increased performance and comfort, and is flexible enough to satisfy an owner/operator or crewed lifestyle.
