The brand new WIDER 150 motor yacht GENESIS represents the largest WIDER vessel to be delivered by the Ancona-based shipyard in September 2015. However, the yard is currently also working on a WIDER 165’ yacht, scheduled for delivery in mid 2016.

The all-aluminium superyacht GENESI has been beautifully designed by Fulvio De Simoni, in partnership with Tilli Antonelli and the yard’s in-house design team. Among the many fine features aboard this striking yacht belongs the biggest and most comfortable Beach Club in her competitive set, offering 90m² of amazing relaxing space, easy access to the sea, as well as plenty room for sunbathing. Moreover, the marine experience is additionally enhanced by an interior 7m seawater swimming pool.
Luxury yacht GENESIS also boasts the biggest Owner’s Apartment in her competitive set with 75m², including a sea terrace with special features, as well as a breath-taking foredeck lounge with opening roof, providing owner and guests with maximum privacy.
Luxury yacht GENESIS – Beach Club
GENESIS yacht is fitted with diesel-electric propulsion mixed up with Azimuthal pods and Lithium Polymer batteries, a system which reduces consumption, while at the same time facilitating unprecedented range and offers maximum comfort, including the ability to enjoy a full night at anchor in total silence using battery power alone.
To achieve this, the traditional engine room has been replaced by two separate units; the Power Generator Room in the bow and a Technical Room with LiPo (Lithium polymer) battery pack in the stern. This leaves a great part of the vessel free for larger, more comfortable guest cabins, which can be found in the most stable part of the yacht.

Thanks to a completely modular overall propulsion system, GENESIS superyacht can cruise using only the battery packs, in ZEM (Zero Emission Mode), or with up to four inline diesel generators. This enables the vessel to cruise at a higher range of speeds, while continuing to enjoy limited specific fuel consumption.
All onboard energy sources are controlled by the WIDER Power Management System, a smart and fully integrated system, which controls the power supplied by the shore connection, the gen-set, as well as the battery packs.
