The prestigious Dutch shipyard, Holland Jachtbouw, is currently working on two new 26-metre explorers – motor yacht Project 099 as well as Project 100 yacht. Both beautifully designed by Knud E. Hansen, the lovely sister ships mix up revolutionary hybrid battery propulsion technology with fully custom exterior.
The model is designed to be operated by a crew of only 2 members. It can comfortably sleep up to 12 guests in maximum luxury.
The reinforced steel hulls and aluminum superstructures will allow the yachts to cruise the waters of the Baltic and Polar regions all year round. They will be fitted with a hybrid propulsion system, which consists of diesel main engines and a series of batteries, resulting in silent running and no emissions. Moreover, the hybrid system has been developed to support operating with one main engine only, in order to save fuel, when cruising at lower speed.
Designed to be in compliance with Lloyds Register Classification Society Rules and Danish Flag Regulations, the model will be available for repeat constructions of similar yachts.
