Liguria-based shipyard, Amer Yachts, part of the Permare Group, is thrilled to announce that the launch of the revolutionary Amer 94’ motor yacht SAVE THE SEA is rapidly approaching. First superyacht to adopt the Volvo Penta IPS engines, Amer 94’ luxury yacht SAVE THE SEA will be displayed in world preview and introduced to the market in occasion of the Cannes Yachting Festival in September, the Genoa Boat Show in October, as well as the Qatar International Boat Show in November.

The shipyard started working on the construction of Amer 94’ superyacht SAVE THE SEA in Autumn 2014. The development of this groundbreaking vessel is the result of a close cooperation, both during the design as well as the executive phases, between Amer Yachts, Volvo Penta, Seakeeper and the tender specialist, Extender. In fact, the vessel will feature the only foldable tender with vertical bow available on the market.

Thanks to the adoption of the revolutionary propulsion system, the hull of the Amer 94’ yacht SAVE THE SEA allows to achieve a speed which doubles the maximum speed of a displacement hull, with a further decrease in noise, emissions and vibrations.

In the meanwhile, the shipyard has also started a new study phase, concentrating on the research of highly innovative motorization solutions, focused, on one side, on the adoption of 4 Volvo Penta IPS engines and, on the other side, on electric motorizations.
