Nominations for the prestigious ShowBoats Design Awards 2016 are now open. The event will be once again hosted by the Tyrolean Alps in Austria’s Kitzbühel on February 22, as part of the Superyacht Design Symposium‘s rich programme for industry professionals as well as superyacht owners.

Now in its seventh year, the coveted golden Neptune trophies have fast become a symbol of pride and distinction for the industry’s design professionals. They concentrate specifically on fundamental aspects of superyacht design, including naval architecture, exterior and interior design, as well as interior layout, and recognize the specialist design skills of the industry’s most talented teams.
The winners of the ShowBoats Design Awards are selected by a jury composed of yacht owners, bespoke naval architects, designers and stylists from within as well as outside the marine industry and senior captain/project managers, all with expert knowledge in their specific fields.
Yacht designers, builders, as well as owners are encouraged to submit their nominations before October 28, 2015. To qualify, all yachts must measure over 30m in length, and have been completed and handed over to their owners between November 1, 2014 and October 31, 2015.
