This month saw the Taiwan-based shipyard, Horizon Yachts, welcome guests of a press conference, hosted by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA). Guests had a unique opportunity to admire the brand new superyacht RP120, currently under construction. Luxury motor yacht RP120 will be the largest yacht displayed at the 2016 Taiwan International Boat Show.

Horizon also toured guests through the first private luxury yacht marina in Taiwan that they developed, Horizon City Marina, as well as Atech Composites, Horizon’s specialized composites factory that produces all of the company’s yacht hulls.

As soon as the first Taiwan International Boat Show came to an end on May 11, 2014, TAITRA started planning for the 2016 show, which will run at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center from March 10 to 13. Following a great success of the 2014 event, TAITRA decided to start promoting the 2016 event this year, and hosted a press conference on July 14 and 15 for 12 prestigious global yacht publications, offering them tours of various Taiwan shipyards as well as factories, including Horizon Yachts.
