The eagerly awaited launch of the first Custom Line 108’ yacht took place a few days ago at the Ferretti Group’s La Spezia production plant. Over the next few days, the brand new planing maxi yacht Custom Line 108’ will undergo the completion of the fitting-out operations and the interior décor, as well as hull performance trials and checking of all onboard equipment and systems. The construction of three more hulls of this model began over the last few months, and is presently well underway.
Once all these operations are completed, motor yacht Custom Line 108’ will be handed over to her Owner from continental Europe during a dedicated official ceremony, and subsequently will enjoy the azure waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The maxi yacht will then head to the French Riviera for the worldwide debut, expected to be hosted by the Ferretti Group in the Principality of Monaco just a few days before the international debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival, running from September 8 to 13, 2015.
“The creation of the first Custom Line 108’ has spread great enthusiasm across the shipyard, which has worked very hard over the last few months to successfully get to the launch of this new maxi yacht,” said Ferretti Group’s Chief Commercial Officer, Stefano de Vivo. “We are looking forward to officially presenting the new yacht, together with the other Custom Line models and all other Ferretti Group new crafts, next September at the première devoted to our Owners, in Monaco, then during the Cannes Yachting Festival.”
THE CUSTOM LINE 108’
