Luxury yacht builder, Bering Yachts in Turkey is pleased to announced the launch of their luxury yacht BERINg 70, which represents the hull #1 in the Bering Yachtship series.
Similar to all of Bering’s yachts, she was designed from the keel up and it’s perfect for extensive coastal cruising. Bering 70 yacht features an easily recognisable hull shape and profile, reflecting an atypical motoryacht that is incredibly stylish. A reverse-raked bow is rarely seen in yacht designs of this size. The absence of a large overhanging bow means that there is less reserve buoyancy to create lift when making contact with an approaching wave. This in turn leads to the hull “slicing” through waves as opposed to riding up and over, thereby dampening pitch at sea. As an end result, Bering 70 yacht offers a smoother ride for everyone on board.
Motor yacht Bering 70 was created with a shallow draft of 4.5′, a displacement of 132,000 pounds, carries over 1,000 gallons of fuel and can cruise for 2,500 miles.
Preliminary sea-trials are scheduled for between 14th-19th of September in Antalya, Turkey. During the sea-trials Bering Yachts will gather all performance data of Bering 70 with the yachts due for completion in November.
