This year’s Invictus Yachts Trophies in Cannes marked a double triumph for RIVA for both the 76’ Perseo yacht, as well as the 88’ Florida superyacht. Both luxury yachts are the result of the close partnership between Officina Italiana Design and Ferretti Group‘s Engineering Department, and were built at the Group’s shipyard in La Spezia.
A few days after her launch and her world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2015, luxury motor yacht Perseo 76’ triumphed in the 50-80 foot (15-24 meters) class, winning the “Best Exterior Design Trophy” and “Most Achieved Trophy”.
Equally successful was superyacht Florida 88’ coupé open convertible, winning both awards she was shortlisted for. She won the “Best Exterior Design Trophy” and “Most Achieved Trophy” in the 80-120 foot (24-36 metre) class.
“We are proud of this recognition and happy to be taking home these awards from the Cannes boat show, which marks the beginning of the new boating season and, for our Group, the best occasion to present all the newest designs and innovations,” commented Alberto Galassi, CEO of Ferretti Group. “In particular, the two new Rivas, which together with the other yachts made up an amazing fleet of 21 models, were admired, visited and tested by an incredible number of customers and new boat owners. This quartet of trophies, along with the fifth obtained by the 73-metre CRN ‘Yalla’, confirms the extraordinary value of our designs. If we hogged the limelight at Cannes, we plan to do the same in the coming weeks, starting at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show, then continuing on to the US in early November where we will be at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.”
