Boasting a long heritage in building motor yachts, Viking has proudly announced that the second Viking 75 yacht was a big attraction at their dealer meeting in Atlantic City. The all-new Viking 75 motor yacht Hull no. 2 is now expected to be showcased at the 2015 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, opening its doors at the Bahia Mar Yachting Center on November 5.
The shipyard’s iconic craftsmanship can be found throughout the second Viking 75 yacht. In the salon, for instance, the high gloss walnut joinery exhibits comprehensive attention to detail and complements the William Bales Company’s interior appointments. The dining area is a formal affair, an inviting feature normally found aboard larger yachts. The galley is well equipped with professional grade appliances and abundant stowage. Forward of the galley, a pair of lounges allow guests to spread out and relax while enjoying the view underway or dockside.
Accommodation aboard Viking 75 luxury yacht Hull no. 2 is provided in a full-beam master suite with a king-size bed, a flat screen television, hull-side windows and a spacious head and shower. Three additional staterooms forward, as well as a pair of staterooms aft for crew offer comfortable accommodation to 12.
The climate controlled enclosed bridge helm of the second Viking 75 yacht boasts a sophisticated electronics package from the shipyard’s subsidiary Atlantic Marine Electronics, which allows a turnkey delivery of this lovely yacht. In addition to serving as a second salon, the enclosed bridge also offers the convenience of a private aft deck.
Viking’s unparalleled mechanical installations include chilled water air conditioning, a hydraulic bow thruster and windlass, a pair of generators, a Seakeeper gyro stabilizer, as well as the yard’s proprietary VIPER (Viking Independent Programmable Electro-hydraulic Rudder) steering system. Caterpillar, MAN and MTU engine packages are available.
