It was a highly successful AMELS Open Day in Vlissingen on November 7, 2015. Around 4,000 visitors attended the event, enjoying a rare glimpse inside the largest superyacht facility in the Netherlands. Visitors had a unique chance to take a look at three of the five luxury yachts currently in build, including AMELS 199, AMELS 242, as well as AMELS 272.
AMELS 199
AMELS 199 (example is luxury yacht MADAME KATE) is a beautiful 60m Limited Editions 199 semi-custom vessel, boasting striking exterior design by Tim Heywood. Decks of the vessel are configured to maximize choices of outdoor entertainment, relaxation, as well as dining. The interiors are by Laura Sessa, and offer comfortable accommodation to up to 12 guests across 7 deluxe cabins.
AMELS 242
Due to hit the water next year, the new AMELS 242 superyacht FREEFALL (project name) measures impressive 73,5m in length. With exterior design by Tim Heywood and interiors by Andrew Winch, this breath-taking vessel will comfortably sleep up to 12 guests across 6 lavishly appointed staterooms, once completed.
AMELS 272
To be the largest AMELS yacht ever built, the imposing 83m AMELS 272 superyacht with exterior design by Tim Heywood boasts sleek curves and elongated deck spaces. With luxurious accommodation for up to 16 guests, she will offer a 43-metre dedicated owner’s deck with 300 square metres of luxury space, a large 26-metre sun deck with an eight-person spa pool and with 200 square metres of deck space, a generous 87-square metre Beach Club, as well as a landing helipad with a maximum take-off weight of 3,000kg.
