Christophe Harbour is excited to announce that it has partnered with ACREW to host the inaugural Caribbean CrewFest, set to become one of the best events for superyacht crew. The event will run on January 15 and 16, 2016 and will offer fun mixed up with valuable professional development, as well as a unique chance to unwind after the busy Christmas and New Year charter season.
“Regular professional development is something that is important to anyone career-focused, but as a crewmember it is easy to find yourself tied to the routine of your yacht,” commented Captain Aeneas Hollins, former superyacht captain and director of yachting at Christophe Harbour. “Taking time out to learn, grow and update your knowledge and skills is vital for any crewmember who wants to progress in their career, not to mention ensure that their owner and guests are always getting the service they deserve. CrewFest will be an opportunity to learn and develop a variety of key skills, but also a chance step off the yacht after the hectic festive season to meet, socialise and network with likeminded crew.”
Nestled on St Kitts’ south-eastern peninsula, Christophe Harbour will offer complimentary dockage at the marina for all yachts with crew attending the event. The full programme, which is expected to be announced next month, will be a combination of ACREW’s signature professional development masterclasses and social events with real Caribbean charm.
Attending Caribbean CrewFest 2016 is free for all professional superyacht crew and captains.
