P.B. BEHAGE has unveiled the new 44,80-metre motor yacht concept EASTERN RED – a full displacement vessel with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. The designer wanted to achieve a modern yacht with harmony between flowing and sharp lines, great flow between indoor and outdoor entertainment areas with panoramic views and a possibility to utilise her in all seasons.

Accommodation layout on board EASTERN RED is spread over the entire beam of the vessel on the main deck with plenty of attractive features. The interiors show the use of stone and marble, combined with veneer wood providing the vessel with a cool and refreshing appearance.
The interior design flows perfectly with the exterior styling, for example in placing the window in the spacious master stateroom, with offers fabulous panoramic views. Additional accommodation for up to 8-10 guests and for eight crew has also been created with a family-friendly layout in mind.
The vast full-width master suite incorporates a studio and a private breakfast area, walk-in wardrobes and a large en-suite bathroom. The accommodation can be customised based on the owner’s wishes.
Other highlights aboard the vessel include groundbreaking technology offering a vast range of options, as well as air-conditioning, heating and underfloor heating.
The practical walk-around sun / wheelhouse allows for easier cleaning of the vessel, facilities berthing, offers good visibility and ease of handling during steering and manoeuvring operations.
The engine room has also been designed for easy maintenance. There are three propeller shafts, two for a five blade fixed pitch and one amidships with a variable pitch five-blade propeller combined with electric propulsion during movement or emergency propulsion during anchor. The concept also features innovative storm covers for windows to protect them if necessary during stormy weather.
Another interesting feature is the fresh water hull sprinkler system to minimise the build-up of sea salt on the hull, keeping the hull clean and shiny.
In addition to being well suited for private ownership, EASTERN RED could also become a popular charter yacht, offering good layout, comfort and style throughout. She has been designed for modular construction and for owners looking for a high-quality yacht with a possible delivery within twenty months.
