1. RAPTOR
Raptor, one of the latest luxury superyacht projects, was recently presented by H2 Yacht Design. The project has been created specifically for Yachting Partners International. To present the new project at the Monaco Yacht Show 2016 Yachting Partners International have used Oculus Rift VR googles to let visitor take a virtual tour “on board” the superyacht. The concept has received a large amount of positive reviews and has been described as an ideal combination of innovative engineering and naval architecture with a striking design.
2. MANGUSTA GRANSPORT 54
Mangusta Gransport 54 is another project by the luxury yacht builder Overmarine, famous for they brand names Mangusta and Mangusta Oceanco. Gransport yacht project is a great addition to the Mangusta family and features superb level of comfort on board, reduced fuel consumption and stunning design. A large sundeck, prolonged aft deck and infinity spa pool of the foredeck are ones of the key features. First Mangusta Gransport 54 is expected to be delivered in 2018.
3. PALO ALTO
Palo Alto has become one of the most thrilling luxury superyacht projects. There is no wonder, as the superyacht design has been developed by bespoke Andrew Winch Design, and will feature 2 helipads, a large 12-metre swimming pool, pompous staircase, resort-style spa and wide spaces for storing the owner’s toys. This will be the largest yacht by Moran Yachts built in Lurssen.
4. PROJECT 400
Measuring 81 metres, Project 400 will be ranked in the top largest sailing yachts in the world by the time the project is completed. This is a special order by Royal Huisman‘s client who wanted the luxury yacht builder to “build his dream”. Project 400 is an all-aluminium three-masted shooner, which is being developed by Dykstra Naval Architects together with Mark Whiteley Design. Although the interior layout or decor have not been revealed yet, the shooner will be able to accommodate up to 12 guests assisted by 13 crew members.
5. JUBILEE
Jubilee project has received much publicity and attention, probably because of the big names in the industry being involved in the project. Igor Lobanov has been working on exterior design, while interior design is being developed by Sam Sorgiovanni. Naval architecture of the megayacht is a join work of Azure N.A. and Oceanco. The 110-metre steel and aluminium megayacht is now under construction, and, once completed, will become one of the largest and most expensive yachts even built in Holland. Jubilee will feature a stunning glass elevator and a huge swimming pool on the main deck. The delivery is scheduled for mid-2017.
